Strategic Management Tasks

  • Define strategy to lead category growth by optimizing benefit from vendor to TIKI Trading (interaction with vendor, relationship building, balance power of negotiation)
  • Responsible for growing selection, building long-term relationships and engaging brand participation

Key / Functional & Admin Activities 

  • Instruct team to negotiate with vendor to optimize benefit for TIKI (selection, pricing, margin, logistic support, partnership coop funding, JBP, inventory, to execute Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly category wise plan from Category planning team and for any inputs from In-stock Planning team)
  • Mentoring team to drive Vendor/Brand to be customer focused, supply chain improvement or participation by coop investment
  • Assigned contract (existing and new from Category development) to team member to make sure contract are fully committed by brand in term of pricing, product quality, delivery, & other service
  • Understand and control quality of selection, inputs to team member to have appropriate action (list in/ list out)
  • Monitor quality of product detail page periodically
  • Support team to be dedicated to any contract process to make sure contract are fully in place
  • Manage pricing to make sure competitive pricing and protect intake margin
  • Highlight key inputs from brand that need prioritize checking to other teams and randomly check
  • Solve problems may arise during working to get best benefit for company
  • Partner with Category On site & MKT team to drive sales out to platform

Team Management & Development

  • Create effective process to facilitate tasks transferring and newly on board
  • Mentor team to understand and follow company strategy and directions
  • Build next successor
  • As role model to prevent corruption and highly integrity
  • Contribute to positive environment through open communication, constructive feedback and success sharing
  • Consistently advocates on behalf of customers
  • Demonstrate broad understanding of internal & external business landscape, identify trends and opportunities

  • Models collaboration with team members, willing to take extra responsibilities


  • An understanding of and passion for eCommerce
  • 4-6 years work experience in Business, Category Management specializing in Book team
  • Proven track record of successful negotiations and relationship management (both internal and external), thorough understanding of the market, and strong relationship with main players 
  • Strong analytical acumen and comfort of generating and evaluating various forecasts, metrics, and analyses using advanced Excel and other Microsoft suite
  • Ability to dissect and determine root causes of problems and implement solutions
  • Innovative, team oriented, and have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
