JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Supplier Research & Sourcing - Commitment Tracking & Performance Improvement
Supplier & Assortment Development
- Conduct market trend studies & provide margin improvement analysis & proposal for the categories assigned
- Actively research & build up the new pool of suitable & potential suppliers
- Get their brands & product assortment live in the agreed timeline
- Work with existing suppliers and brands to negotiate terms improvement, develop new incentive programs, and ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of goods
- Regular strategic sourcing reviews (include industry scans, competitor checks, suppliers’ business strategies, and plans) to ensure low cost /best value supply at all times
Supplier Commitment Tracking & Performance Improvement
- Drive supply continuity and quality
- Review performance and access capability and degrees of motivation of suppliers to improve their performance and develop/ maintain/ grow relationships with key suppliers
Supplier Administration & Partner Relationship Management
- Administrate & Digitize Supplier Pool Information
- Supplier Onboarding & Engagement/ Supplier Support Center
- Manages the business relationships with suppliers and key partners
2. Price and profit monitoring
- Working with category teams and joining in negotiation round with key suppliers/ brands of the categories assigned to deliver sustainable improvements to overall margin structure
- Ensure all top deals have the most competitive price compared to other channels
- Optimize & maximize other trading terms (payment term, credit limit, coop marketing rebate, …) and quality of products we purchase
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT
1. Domain Expertise
- At least 3-year experience in Purchasing/ Sourcing in Retail/ Modern Trade Channel (preferred 3Cs/ Home Appliances/ Consumer Goods Industry)
- Proven skills to develop and implement sourcing and negotiation. Supplier relationship management
- Proven ability to work with relevant stakeholders: suppliers, marketing, sales, logistics
- Advanced knowledge of supply and inventory management
- Native in Vietnamese and Proficient Business English
