1. Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our marketing team. As a Social Community Intern, you will play a key role in engaging with our online community, building strong connections with followers, and supporting seamless communication across social platforms. This internship is ideal for individuals passionate about social media, community management, brand building, and customer engagement.
2. Key Responsibilities:
- Community Engagement & Interaction (80%)
Community Management:
Monitor and manage daily interactions across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
Respond to comments and mentions in a timely, friendly, and brand-appropriate tone.
Manage and monitor daily activity in Tiki’s Community Groups, including moderating posts and comments.
Create engaging posts that spark conversation and encourage interaction from group members.
Foster a positive and helpful group environment, and escalate any issues or feedback to the relevant teams.
Proactively spark conversations with the audience through polls, replies, questions, and interactive posts.
Support the development of voice and tone guidelines for community responses.
Identify and engage with brand advocates and user-generated content.
Social Listening:
Monitor conversations and sentiment around the brand, competitors, and industry topics.
Report on trending topics, feedback, and customer concerns to help improve communication and brand strategy.
Creative Contribution:
Collaborate with the content team to brainstorming creative, relatable community-driven content (trendy contents, challenges, comments, etc.).
Community Calendar & Reporting:
Assist in planning and executing community engagement campaigns aligned with the social media calendar.
Track and report engagement metrics and community sentiment.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the social media, design, and customer support teams to ensure consistent messaging and fast issue resolution.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and community planning meetings.
3. Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Management or a related field.
Ability to produce content that has a creative, clear, and brand-aligned tone.
Strong understanding of popular social platforms and community behavior.
Familiarity with managing and engaging Facebook Groups is a plus.
Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling, building online communities and interacting with followers.
Organized and proactive, with attention to detail and responsiveness.
Creative mindset and love for internet culture and social media trends.
Organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
