At Tiki, we’re building Vietnam’s most trusted and fastest e-commerce platform — powered by a massive data infrastructure. Our systems handle petabytes of data and drive everything from real-time product updates to customer behavior, orders, and personalized recommendations. We’re looking for smart, driven Data Engineers to help maintain and evolve this platform — supporting real-time decisions across commercial, marketing, and operations.

🚀 What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain batch + streaming pipelines using Airflow, Flink, Spark, and Kafka.

  • Work with BigQuery to design and optimize large-scale data models (thousands of tables, petabyte-level datasets).

  • Support our Data Warehouse & BI stack (Druid, Imply Pivot) for internal teams.

  • Collaborate with domain teams to move data reliably into specialized stores like ScyllaDB, ClickHouse, etc.

  • Develop and maintain in-house CDC-based ingestion systems (MySQL/PostgreSQL → Kafka → DWH).

  • Troubleshoot and optimize queries, pipelines, and platform performance.

  • Contribute to architecture decisions on our Kubernetes-hosted platform (1,000+ TB storage).

  • Join code reviews, design sessions, and production troubleshooting.

🎯 Who We’re Looking For

Junior Engineers (1–2 YOE)

  • Solid foundation in data structures, SQL, and databases

  • Comfortable coding in Python and/or Java/Scala

  • Hungry to learn distributed systems and big data tools

  • Bonus: experience with backend systems or performance optimization

Mid – Senior Engineers (2+ YOE)

  • Strong experience with production-scale data pipelines

  • Proficient in Kafka/Flink (streaming) and Airflow/Spark (batch)

  • Deep understanding of data modeling and warehousing

  • Can lead projects, mentor others, and own complex systems

  • Bonus: strong backend skills or experience with performance-critical systems
